Excellent Stay Near Albert Hall
great location helpful staff clean room
I was happy with the location near Kensington Gardens. The Natural History Museum and V & A are about a 10-minute walk. Gloucester Road tube station is also approximately 10 minutes away. I found the reception and concierge staff very cute and helpful.
The lift was small for us and luggage. The porter showing us to our room also had to squeeze in. It was an uncomfortably cramped ride.

The hotel offers complimentary water and hot drinks in the rooms. A well-stocked coffee machine and mini bar are also present in the room. Free slippers are available, very welcome after exploring.

My room included a spacious bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower. It featured a ledge for toiletries, and mini toiletries were supplied. There were also many clean towels provided. the housekeeping staff were efficient.

Breakfast had plenty of choice, with freshly squeezed orange juice. There were also gluten-free cakes available during the breakfast service. I found this to be a very nice addition for dietary needs.

The staff were very attentive . Sam and Venky are ready to assist with luggage, taxi bookings, and questions. They show genuine interest when helping guests, nothing is too much trouble.

The hotel's location is excellent, as it is near several key attractions. It is an easy walk to restaurants, pubs, convenience stores, and museums. The Royal Albert Hall is also nearby.

An OKAY stay
friendly staff fresh breakfast great location broken kettle hard bed leaking doors
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was VERY good. It had fresh orange juice and freshly baked bread. The location is also great.
The kettle did NOT work. The bed reminded me of a piece of concrete and pillows were hard. The shower doors don't keep water from seeping out.

Acceptable stay. some small issues
spacious room quiet location tired decor loose taps
The room was spacious, which I appreciated. It overlooked the back of the hotel, and it was very quiet. The bed was a good size, and I slept well. It was NOTHING short of enjoyable.
I found the decor a little tired. It could use some updating. My room was in the basement, and it felt dingy because of the limited natural light. It was not great. The bathroom needed some work because the bath taps were loose from the wall. The front desk staff were less than stellar.
